Early Childhood Special Education Classes
Specialized classrooms are available for preschool-aged children who require a structured, small-group learning environment with targeted support. These classrooms are designed to meet the unique developmental and educational needs of each child through individualized instruction and therapeutic interventions.
Each classroom is led by an Early Childhood/Special Education Teacher and supported by classroom assistant teachers. Additionally, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists collaborate to provide essential related services. This multidisciplinary team ensures that children receive comprehensive support tailored to their specific needs.
Classroom sizes vary based on the needs of the students, ensuring an appropriate teacher-to-student ratio for individualized attention. Instruction and activities are developmentally appropriate, fostering growth in communication, motor skills, cognitive development, and social-emotional learning.
Children’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives are embedded into daily instruction and activities. Parents are integral members of the IEP team, working alongside educators and specialists to support their child’s progress and ensure a coordinated approach to learning and development.
