Support in Early Childhood Daycares and Environments
Itinerant education services provide individualized educational and developmental support for eligible children enrolled in preschool, daycare, or other community-based programs. These services ensure that children with developmental delays or disabilities receive the necessary accommodations and interventions to successfully participate in their learning environments.
An Itinerant teacher and/or therapist works collaboratively with parents, teachers, and caregivers to offer guidance on implementing appropriate developmental activities both at home and in the classroom. These professionals play a key role in ensuring that the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) is effectively developed and implemented within their educational setting.
