For the 2019-2020 school year, the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit will continue to partner with Variety Pittsburgh-the children's charity. Variety Charity provides children with disabilities with unique programs, experiences, and equipment throughout 54 counties in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. To do our part, we have set an organizational goal of raising enough money to provide a Westmoreland County child with an adaptive bike valued at $1,800.
For a modest donation of $35, employees are able to dress down during seven (7) identified workdays throughout the school year.
