A Preschool Expo will be held on April 13th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm in the Fred Rogers Room at the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit, located at 102 Equity Drive in Greensburg.
The Preschool Expo is presented by the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit and Westmoreland County Behavioral Health and Developmental Services in partnership with Local Interagency Coordinating Council, Westmoreland Casemanangement and Supports and Early Learning Resource Center.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with local childcare providers (birth to 5 years old) to learn about their unique programs, curriculum, teaching philosophies and enrollment opportunities.
Participating providers include Aquinas Academy, Brightside Jeannette, Champion Christian Preschool and Child Care, Children's Learning Ladder, Each One Teach One Family Center, First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg Preschool, Grandma's House Learning Center, Latrobe Kinder-Schull, Ligonier Valley Learning Center, Ligonier Valley YMCA Child Development Programs, Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania, PIC Kidz Zone, Trying Together, Queen of Angels Catholic School, Rapid Response Team Services, Rocking Horse, Seton Hill Child Services, Seton Hill University Child Development Center, The Center for Learning and Belonging, and Westmoreland Community Action Head Start.
“This unique event brings Westmoreland County childcare resources together to one building to showcase what they offer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to meet representatives, ask questions and to discover the best fit for their child,” said Emily Surace, WIU Early Childhood Services School Social Worker.
