Westmoreland Intermediate Unit receives grant from Richard King Mellon Foundation The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is excited to announce that it has been approved for a $200,000 grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation's COVID-19 Economic Impact and Recovery Initiative. Of the 235 "Request for Ideas" submissions submitted, only 80 were invited to submit full proposals. Only 37 were funded at $5.25 million in total.
