FUEL BID NOTICE

Westmoreland Intermediate Unit Joint Purchasing Consortium will be soliciting bids for Diesel Fuel and Unleaded Gasoline for the 2026-2027 school year. Presently, 12 school districts within Westmoreland County could participate. The deadline for potential vendors to register their intent to bid by submitting the appropriate sealed documents is 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Registration forms must be delivered in hardcopy to: WIU Joint Purchasing, 102 Equity Drive, Greensburg PA  15601-7190. Approved vendors will be notified approximately 36 hours prior to the submission deadline for sealed bids, which will be opened and acted upon at the determined time.   The formal details on bid procedures, registration materials, and fuel quantities are available online at www.wiu7.org.
