Training and Consultation (TaC) Team

The WIU Training and Consultation (TaC) Team serves as the region's special education capacity-building network, supporting schools and districts in strengthening the quality, coherence, and effectiveness of services for students with disabilities.

Comprised of highly respected specialists, the TaC Team supports districts through expert consultation, targeted training, and embedded partnerships that improve special education programming, inclusive practices, and service delivery models. Their work ensures alignment with IDEA requirements while helping schools develop sustainable systems that serve learners across instructional environments.


TaC consultants are trusted advisors to special education leaders, administrators, educators, and families, bringing clarity, expertise, and implementation support to complex regulatory and instructional challenges.
